GarageBand FAQ: Scrolling the Timeline

Q: My timeline no longer scrolls when I play, record, or drag the playhead in my project, how do I fix this?

A. Click the icon with the two arrows located in the bottom right corner of the timeline to toggle whether the timeline scrolls with the playhead or not.
