Q. I copied and pasted regions from one project into another, then deleted the original regions/Projects, and the regions vanished from my new file as well! How can I prevent this from happening?

A. You Must use Save As Archive in the second project. Pasted regions are exactly that, pasted regions. The files themselves remain in the original project. The Archive function copies the actual files into the saved project. If you still had the original...
Project with the recoridngs, you could re-copy the regions, and then use the Archive option. If the original project or its regions were deleted, I'm afraid the recordings are lost.
(If the "Archive" Checkbox is disabled, drop any random Blue loop into your project to enable it)
