Q. The steps for "Oddball" problems have not solved my Apple GarageBand issue, what is the next thing to try?

A. Create a new User Account on your Mac, log out of your current account and into that one. Test GarageBand from this new account. If it runs successfully, then we at least know that it's something within your Home Directory.
Unfortunately, if it still fails, things become more complicated as this means it's a more systemic problem on your Mac.

GarageBand from Apple Computer uses audio loops and MIDI loops in Apple Loops format. It can work with Audio Units plug-ins. Apple Macintosh Compatible FireWire and USB interfaces can be used to connect Audio and MIDI instruments to your Mac, and be recorded into GarageBand.
