A. First you MUST have GarageBand version 4.1.1 or later, as well as iTunes version 7.5 or later and iPhone software version 1.1.2 or later.
To export the ringtone use the Cycle function to Export the Exact Length you desire, this can be no longer then 40 seconds. Once the length has been defined, Choose "Send Ringtone To iTunes" from the Share menu.
