Q. How can I make the default volume of a software (MIDI) Instrument Louder?

A. Open Track "i"info, click on "Details", click the pencil icon to the right of the Generator PopUp menu, and raise the volume slider.

Open Track "i"nfo, click on the Edit Tab, and click the image under "Sound Generator" to display the windoid with the instrument's controls. Raise the Volume slider.
