GarageBand FAQ: Installer Disabled

Q. I tried to reinstall GB, but the option is disabled, how do I enable it?

A. First delete the GarageBand related files found in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Note: this is at the root level of your hard drive, not your Home directory which would be written as ~/Library/Receipts/

Then Move the GarageBand application out of the Applications folder.
