Can I keep my old version of GarageBand when I install the new version?

A. You can rename the GarageBand application, then the new installation will not replace it. I have mine named GarageBand1, GarageBand2, etc
Note: My experience with GarageBand1 was that it got fussy with the newer versions installed (2 and 3 were still working without issues last time I checked).
