A. Select a Real track in GarageBand's timeline, then in the digital readout that displays the current time or measure, you'll find on the left side top that there is a faint icon of a tuning fork. Select that to display the tuner.

Select either the clock or note icons beneath it to return to the digital readout.

For iLife '08 GB09 iLife '11

A. Select a Real track in GarageBand's timeline, then in the digital readout that displays the current time or measure, click on the popUp menu on the left side and choose Tuner
