Q. Can I change the tempo of an imported audio file in GB6 ('11)?

A. In Apple's GarageBand version 6 it's very easy: select the region(s) in the track (in the Timeline). Open the Track Editor and check the Follow Tempo & Pitch checkBox. The imported region(s) will now respond to any pitch and tempo changes that you make.
